Ryan Allis:

Ryan Allis is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of iContact. As CEO he’s managed the company from its start in July 2003 to its current size with more than 140 employees, 40,000 customers, and 1,500 channel partners. Ryan is a speaker, author, and syndicated columnist on entrepreneurship and marketing and is the author of the book Zero to One Million . Ryan has been featured on ABC News and The Big Idea With Donny Deutsch and in The Wall St. Journal, Investors’ Business Daily, Entrepreneur Magazine, Success Magazine, and Young Money Magazine. In 2005 he was named by BusinessWeek Magazine as one of the “Top 25 Entrepreneurs Under 25.” Ryan is the founder of the The Humanity Campaign, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing poverty and hunger in North Carolina and in developing countries. Ryan serves as the Board Chairman of Nourish International and as a Board Member for the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, Leadership Triangle and EO Raleigh-Durham. Terri Houston:

Terri Houston is a preeminent teacher and trainer of students, college administrators, and business professionals. Her 15 years of progressive higher education experience coupled with her enthusiastic leadership style has helped countless colleges, universities, businesses and community groups build strong inclusive organizations. Terri has assisted thousands of people in finding their purpose and establishing their visions.

Terri has served as advisor for the Associated Student Government at Ferris State University, the Government of the Student Body at Iowa State University, and worked with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Student Government.

Terri holds a Masters degree in Counseling Education and a Bachelor’s in Public Relations. She currently serves as the Director of Recruitment and Support Programs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked in many levels of Higher Education including Residential Life, Student Activities & Leadership, Multicultural Affairs, Enrollment Management, Greek Affairs, Substance Abuse Prevention, Women & LGBT Services, and advised several Student Government Associations. She also serves on several boards and associations, and frequently consults at conferences, campuses and community organizations throughout the country.

Terri wholeheartedly believes that no power is greater than the higher power within. Her persuasive, energetic and humorous message of visionary leadership will entertain as well as educate.

Thomas Wicker:

Thomas Wicker is currently conducting research at Duke in their Organizational Behavior Department.  He is interested in the topic of managing change in organizations and will be speaking with our chapter about this topic.
